Before you book

What happens in the chair

The tooth is cleaned and dried, then the sealant is painted into its grooves and set with a blue light. There is no drilling and no numbing.

Who it suits

Children, soon after their adult back teeth come through, and adults whose grooves are deep enough to catch food.

Afterwards

Eat and drink as usual straight away. A sealant wears slowly, and it is checked at every check-up.

Start with a first look

A limited exam and one X-ray on the tooth, $116 and about 25 min, so you know what it needs before anything is done.
