The list
What joining means, and what it does not
It is a list. It costs nothing, it holds no room, and it takes no card. What it does is decide the order the invitations go out in.

Questions
The six we actually get
Can I book a room?
No. Nothing is bookable and there is no deposit to pay. The list is a list; when the first wave opens in February, everyone on it gets forty-eight hours before the public.
What does joining cost?
Nothing, and it never will. We are not selling a membership and there is no tier above the one you are on.
How often will you write?
Roughly monthly, and only when something has actually happened. Four emails have gone out in the last twelve months.
Is the house accessible?
Partly, and honestly: Ferryman is step-free from the yard door and has a level shower. The other ten rooms are up at least one flight, and the second floor has a low door. The lift we would need does not fit the stair core.
Where exactly is it?
Above the Dyfi estuary in Gwynedd, four miles of tidal sand from the door. The nearest station is Penhelyg; we will publish the walk when there is something to walk to.
What happens to my address?
It sits in one list, used to send the five emails described on this site, and nothing else. No advertising, no sharing, no analytics profile. Unsubscribing removes the row.
Your address
What happens to it, in full
- It sits in one list and receives the 5 emails described on this site. Nothing else is sent to it.
- No advertising, ever, from us or from anybody we might sell to.
- It is not shared, not sold, and not loaded into an analytics profile. There is no pixel in these emails.
- Unsubscribing deletes the row. Not “marks it inactive” — deletes it.
- If the house never opens, the list is deleted and we send one email saying so.
Opening May 2027
